On the morning of the AIS annual company picnic, employees volunteered to participate in a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program that took place in coordination with the American Red Cross. The initiative, part of the company’s ongoing commitment to community service, aimed to equip its workforce with life-saving skills beyond the digital realm.
“At AIS, we believe in fostering a culture of compassion and community engagement, so we were really pleased to partner with the American Red Cross to make this training happen for our staff and their families,” said Erin Bushinger, Director of Marketing and Communications. “Thanks to the Red Cross for spending the morning with us to provide participants with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in CPR techniques.”
During the CPR training, employees learned the fundamental steps of administering CPR to individuals experiencing cardiac arrest, understanding the critical role they can play in preserving life before professional medical help arrives. The program emphasized the importance of swift action, clear communication and proper techniques, ensuring participants gained the confidence to respond effectively in real-life situations.
AIS will partner again with the American Red Cross at the end of the month by hosting a blood drive at its headquarters.
