AIS has been awarded Engineering for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology (EVEREST), a $300 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract focused on enhancing secure access and information transfer across multiple security domains and the cloud, providing research, development, enhancement, sustainment and training of innovative technologies, directly supporting U.S. military operations.
EVEREST will address the growing need for advanced information security and secure data access within military and intelligence communities. Successful execution of the initiative will ensure rapid deployment of military forces, providing real-time information to achieve strategic objectives and maintain battle space situational awareness. The contract will focus on developing and maintaining multi-level access (MLA) solutions, cloud infrastructure and secure storage and transfer technologies.
AIS’s Trusted Systems business unit will be performing this work for Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate in Rome, New York. Work is expected to be completed by January 2030.
“At a time when our nation’s cybersecurity is more important than ever, this massive Air Force award is a glowing endorsement of AIS’s industry-leading technology, and proof positive that the partnership between AIS, AFRL and the Mohawk Valley workforce is a match made in heaven. Thanks to EVEREST, AIS will protect dozens of good-paying jobs and set the stage for new growth in Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley as a national hub for technology,”
said U.S. Senator Charles Schumer.
“Inspiring innovations and partnerships like EVEREST are why I have made it a priority for Upstate NY to surge forward the nation’s leadership in technology, including by boosting investment in AFRL and innovative local companies like AIS each year in the federal budget to enhance our nation’s national security, support good-paying jobs and grow the Mohawk Valley economy.”
This contract, growing from a previous $95 million award to $300 million, reflects AIS’s ongoing success in delivering next-generation solutions to address evolving security challenges. As the mission expands, AIS anticipates potential job creation to support its efforts, reinforcing its dedication to the local workforce and economic development.
“We’re honored and thrilled to have been selected for EVEREST, which reflects both our team’s unwavering commitment to the mission and our clients’ trust in our capabilities,” said Adam Dailey, Director of Trusted Systems at AIS. “Our long-standing partnership with AFRL continues to enable delivery of next-generation solutions that ensure our U.S. military and intelligence agencies stay ahead of emerging threats.”
