We believe in supporting organizations and events that align with our company values and have a positive impact within both the technology space and the community. We’re also proud to work with generous employees who are committed to the same belief. Here is a snapshot of our sponsorships and activities in 2024.
We host an annual workplace campaign encouraging AIS employees to donate to the United Way of the Mohawk Valley, an organization committed to better people’s lives through programs that are focused on the building blocks of a good quality life – education, health and income stability. Nearly $6,000 was raised during our annual campaign.
We held three onsite blood drives this year in collaboration with the American Red Cross. 52 units of blood were donated by employees in 2024, potentially saving the lives of up to 156 people in need. With a national blood shortage, we’re eager to continue these critical donation events in 2025 with our first one slated for February.
Earlier this year, our hometown—where our headquarters is located—was struck by a devastating tornado, leaving families displaced and in urgent need of basic necessities. When Connected Community Schools expressed a critical need for diapers, our employees stepped up in a big way. Together, we filled our lobby with diapers and other essential items, rallying to support our community during a challenging time.
This year, we proudly supported more than 45 nonprofits dedicated to making a difference, including sponsoring Black Girls Code, which empowers Black girls through computer programming education, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which builds beds for children in need.
