AIS is pleased to make the following staff announcements:
Chris Ficke has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, Ficke is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. Ficke joined AIS in 2020 and served as Vice President of Finance and Controller prior to this position.
Prior to joining AIS, Ficke was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in forensics and government services. He has served companies in an extensive range of industries, from Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, to Utility, Aerospace and Defense and Entertainment.
Ficke holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Accounting and Professional Consulting from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Byron Parker has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Defense and Intelligence.
In this role, Parker oversees engineering and business development (BD) activities, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and strategic growth. Parker joined AIS in 2021 and served as Vice President of Business Development prior to this position.
Prior to joining AIS, Parker held multiple leadership positions in both the government and commercial markets focusing on growth strategy. He served as the Director of BD and Director of Programs at WGS Systems, where he diversified the company’s customer base from international governments to include Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), oil and gas exploration and Internet of Things (IoT) markets.
Parker holds a bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
Kim Riley has been named Controller at AIS.
In this role, she will lead the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company.
Prior to joining AIS, Riley served as Controller at Barclay Damon LLP, where she led a team of 25 individuals and supported more than 350 attorneys in multiple offices in the Northeast. She was responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, as well as month-end closings and financial reporting. She has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and management.
Riley holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from State University of New York College at Oneonta.
