Twenty years ago this month, AIS earned its first contract in company history with Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in Rome, New York. Since then, the company has continued to be a driving force for technology and national security through its innovative solutions, unprecedented capabilities and groundbreaking research.
“Starting AIS was one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken and earning our first contract was a huge milestone that made it all worth it,” said Charles Green, CEO at AIS. “It gave us all the confidence we needed and set the trajectory for AIS for decades to come.”
As of May 2022, AIS has completed 376 contracts and is currently fulfilling 44. Through these contracts, working with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and strong collaborative ties with other defense contractors and highly regarded universities, AIS has gained relationships with a wide customer base and contributes significantly to national cyber requirements.
To stay ahead of the next cyber threat, AIS leads efforts in research and development and continues to grow its ecosystem, currently including GreyCastle Security and AssuredTek. Over the past 20 years, AIS has been awarded 17 patents and currently has 11 filed. The company also has a comprehensive Internal Research and Development Program, which helps shape employees’ concepts and ideas to create future programs for the organization and provide progressive products and services to customers.
AIS has a variety of open positions including both on site and remote opportunities and offers a referral bonus to community members through a Talent Referral Program.
